I teach elementary music at Fountaindale Elementary School for the Arts and Academics. Fountaindale is a part of the Washington County School District in Hagerstown, MD. I enjoy working with elementary students because they are so eager to learn. It's also a lot of fun to prepare students for concerts so they can shine during their moment in the spotlight.

I earned my Masters of Education from Walden University in 2007. I am also a 2002 graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education.

I am married to my best friend, Tyler, and I enjoy spending time with him whenever I can. In July of 2010 we welcomed Addison as a part of our family. I love every moment of being a mom! I also keep busy with my toy fox terrier, Riley.

Outside of school I am also busy teaching music to the kids' choir at my church. They are an enthusiastic group of singers! I also participate in a small group and various other activities at church. In my spare time (although there is very little of it at this point!) I enjoy singing, reading, skiing, sewing, and playing games.
